We are here today in San Diego California, which will serve as your starting point for this race.

To reach your first clue, you have to answer this question correctly in your Team Confessional (most of the challenges will be played there.) If you get it wrong, we will dislike your post & you can try again. Once you get it right, you will receive the first Route Information Clue.

To reach your next destination, you will have to make it to the nearest airport & get on one of 3 flights. To determine which flight you will be on, here are 2 different puzzles. Flight A has a puzzle with rotating pieces that will take longer, but you will arrive at your destination sooner. Flight B has a puzzle without rotating pieces, therefore it should take less time to complete, but the flight arrives 5 minutes later. Flight C has no puzzle. This is the flight you will have to take if you do not complete either puzzles on time. Flight C arrives 10 minutes after Flight A . Only one team member has to post a screenshot of the completed puzzle in your Team Confessional area. I must be able to see that you did 100% of the puzzle & the number of pieces in your screenshot.

Smoke or Swim?

Miami is known for its sandy white beaches & it's Latin American influences. Today you have to choose if you want to Smoke which will be a cigar making task or if you want to swim which will be a beach a task. Please post your decision in your Team Confessional. You can change tasks at any time by letting us know, but you will incur a 5 minute penalty for traveling to the new task. I will let you know that swim requires both partners, while smoke can be done by one, but better with both.

Welcome to the beaches of Miami,

In this task you must take a dip in the ocean & make your way to the marker 50 meters away from the shore. Both team members have to touch the marker & return to shore to complete the task & receive your next clue. Each stroke in the water will count for 1 meter. This means that each team member has to post Left Stroke 25 times & Right Stroke 25 times alternating between both. Once you do that, you will say "Taps Marker" & you will do the Left Stroke 25 times & Right Stroke 25 times alternating between both to return to shore. Once you reach the shore, you will say "Back to Shore" Once both team members have done this, you will receive your clue. If you mess up, you have to start back from the start. You can number your strokes if that helps like Left Stroke 1, Right Stroke 1, etc. You must making a new thread for this in your Team Confessional. Title this thread "Swimming in Miami".
